I was still pretty new to NCT, I was working on learning all of their names and telling them apart. At the time my bias list for NCT consisted of Lucas & Taeyong, and I was curious how old they were. So I just went through all of NCT’s ages. When I saw that Jisung and I are both born in 2002 I was really shoked. Like he doesn’t look like a 02 liner. And basically just out of 02 solidarity he became my first NCT Dream Bias. I do love him for more than that now tho lol

Hmmm. I can be pretty shy when it comes to commitments like that. And he’s also pretty shy, I’d probably say it first like when friends, but since this is dating your bias, again probably me.

I think it’s a tie, because we’re both shy, and I’m a blushing mess when it comes to cutesy romancey stuff.

I’m not very creative when it comes to puns, so I feel like he’d take all the bad dad jokes he’s learned from Taeil over the years and use them on me. I’d definitely be wheezing, I have a garbage sense of humor.

I’m too anxious to even step near the ledge, so definitely him. I’d just grab on to his arm to make sure he wouldn’t fall.

I don’t really like horror movies, but I’d watch with him if he really wanted to watch one. I’d definitely hide my face in my hands through out all the scary/gorey scenes. He’d find it cute, but would inevitably use it to tease me later

He’s the cheesy flirt, I’m the smooth flirt. He’d ask Mark or Lucas for some pickup lines, but both of them would just start to tease him. I’m just gay, that’s my secret.

Him, I’m just kinda mellow. Like we’re playing Mario kart, I’d be playfully competitive, but this boy takes it seriously. If he won he’d brag for weeks, if I won I’d just laugh for a little then comfort him.

Definitely him, I am almost always prepared. I’m also just always paranoid I’ll forget something so I write myself soooo many notes to remember, but he has a lot on his plate so I’d be reminding him not to forget stuff.

Both of us for both. I’d send him a wholesome meme and he’d just kinda send a cute message, then like 10(owo)minutes later he’d send a meme just to make sure I got the first message.

He pulled you in the other direction almost immediately. You had shown him pictures of your ex, luckily that came into use. Because as soon as he saw your ex he went into panic mode.

Jeno pulled you close as your ex started asking you about your current relationship. He was pretty uncomfortable, so were you, but he was right there and your ex had the guts to ask about your relationship.
“Y/N is happy with me, I don’t appreciate you asking them personal questions like this” you could tell he was getting annoyed so you excused the two of you.
Donghyuck
Donghyuck was very unamused when your ex came to talk to you. He could tell you were too, so he decided to get you two out of the situation.
“Hey um Y/N has an appointment really soon, we should get going” he pushed you through the closest door and ran in after you. “Do you think they bought it?”
Jaemin
He didn’t really understand what was happening at first, it took him a second to notice you were dreading the situation. When he did realize what was going on he inserted himself into the situation.
“Yah! Y/N we forgot! We forgot we have to meet up with the others before practice, let’s go!”. You didn’t know what he was on about, but decided to go along with it and just let it happen.

“Y/N-ie, are you okay?” he sat down beside you and started to rub circles onto the small of your back. You just shook your head no, burying your face deeper into your knees. “M-My legs Mark, I hate them..” you croaked
“Oh Y/N, please don’t hate yourself. You’re way more than just your legs, you’re beautiful, talented, and the most amazing person I’ve ever met”
He enveloped you in a big bear hug, holding you tight occasionally whispering sweet nothings into your ear as you cried out onto his chest.

You and Renjun were getting ready to head out on a date, you had gone to the bathroom to ‘clean up’. You had been in there for half an hour and Renjun was beginning to grow inpatient.
“Y/N come on! We’re gonna be late”. No response, he decides to find out what’s happening himself. “Y/N I’m coming in, you better be ready because we need to leave now”
He made his way into the bathroom and found you sitting on the floor crying silently. He felt his heart drop at the sight of you crying.
“I’m sorry you have to see me like this” you chuckled, making light of your situation. “Y/N god are you okay?”, you looked away not able to meet his eyes. “I hate my body in this outfit, I look disgusting”
He just shook his head and pulled you close. “You know what, let’s just stay home and cuddle. Does that sound nice?”
Jeno
Jeno had been on tour for so long you forgot the last time you’ve seen him. He decided to call you since you two also haven’t called in awhile.
“C’mon Y/N answer the phone” it just kept ringing, until finally you answer. “Hi babe” you said sniffling, “Babe… you sound like you’ve been crying. Do you miss me?” a cocky smirk grew on his face, “Well of course you idiot” a small smile taking place on your face. “But that’s not the reason I’m crying”
You two talked for awhile, him questioning your insecurities, and you explaining. In the end he started to sing gently to you to help you fall asleep.
After a couple minutes of singing he heard your gentle snores, he decided to end the call. “I love you Y/N, and I can’t wait to see you again”
Donghyuck
Donghyuck was out of town when you started to get hate comments again. Saying things like your face is too ugly to be dating such a beautiful person like Donghyuck. All of these comments only got worse when Hyuck was spotted with a mysterious person.
Rumors started appearing saying maybe the two of you broke up and that person was his rebound, etc. The internet took quite a liking to this new mystery S/O. You were distressed, Hyuck wasn’t answering his phone so you had no way of knowing who the mystery person was.
Two weeks later
Donghyuck and the rest of NCT are back in Seoul. You were somewhat excited to see your boyfriend, but also didn’t really want him to see you crying. He made his way to your apartment, once he entered he saw you on the couch hugging a stuffed animal bear he had won for you.
“Hi baby~~ I missed you so much~” he sang, when he noticed you were unresponsive he dropped his bags and made his way over to you. “Y/N cutie pie honey bunch?” at this point he could tell something was wrong so he tried his best to make you smile. “I’m not good enough for you Hyuck” you said, voice barely above a whisper. He pulled you close and peppered kisses across you face until you told him what was wrong.
Jaemin
Jaemin went to the local convenient store to grab some snacks for you two’s annual movie marathon. You had been feeling really insecure about your weight lately so you only told Jaemin to grab some carrots. Of course the convenient store doesn’t carry carrots so on his way out of the small shop he went to a market.
“Hey Jagi, yeah the gas station doesn’t have carrots so I’m on my way over to that market we saw last week. Are you sure you want carrots? Because if you’re just joking with me I picked up your usual.” “Nana you’re the best, and yes I really do want carrots. Please be home soon”. No one in their right mind would want carrots when watching a movie, but you, of course, were watching your weight.
Jaemin got back from his errands just in time, he saw you lying in the spot he left you in, but only this time you were silently sobbing into your hands. He immediately put the bags down on the closest table and ran over to you. “Shush Jagi, please tell me what’s wrong. I hate seeing you cry.” “Me”. He didn’t get what you meant at first until you pointed at your stomach.
“Oh, Y/N. Please don’t do this to yourself. You are perfect just the way you are”
Chenle
You were really insecure about your laugh, and Chenle new. You tried to keep it from him but he eventually figured it out. You would always try to hide your laugh because you thought it was annoying, but Chenle adored it.
“Y/N I’m back!!” your dolphin boyfriend sung as he made his way into your room. You had been crying for hours and as soon as you saw Chenle the waterworks started up again. “Jesus Jagi whats up?” he made his way over to you and sat right beside you, pulling you into his lap.
You told him everything that was bothering you, and his suspicions were correct. You hate your laugh. So he tried his best to make you laugh just so he could prove a point. “Lele please stop it hurts” “Not until you show me your beautiful laugh, so until then I will be merciless”.
He continued to joke and occasionally poke your side just to get a reaction out of you. You caved in after a couple minutes of absolute hell, you laughed. “HA there! I told you I’d get it out of you!”

Your first day of school was tomorrow, and you were anything but ready. So you and Jisung had a sleep over at the dorms, “Y/N you’ll be fine trust me, and if anything goes wrong please text me” “Of course Jisung, but that’s not what I’m worried about”.
You saw his face mold into one filled with surprise and worry, “Then what’s wrong?” he stuttered. “I’m so bad at making new friends, I’ll probably scare them off with my garbage social skills”. He just shook his head and pulled you into him, “Y/N, please don’t speak like that. W-Wait are you c-crying?”.
He could feel tears fall onto his shirt, you had tried your best to control them, but to no avail. There was no point in hiding your worry now. “I’m scared Jisung, I’m absolutely terrified” you choked, he kissed your forehead and rocked you back and forth. The fact that he kissed your forehead was enough to send butterflies to your stomach.
“I’m sorry Y/N, I wish I could be there with you, but I’m here now and that’s all that matters” he knew exactly what to say to make you melt.

Mark had been crushing on you for the longest time. Ever since he met you in a local library he visited often, he’s only had eyes for you.
He never thought he’d see you here, but to his surprise there you were. Inside his favorite restaurant. Your silky hair flowing down your face, your beautiful aura, your glowing smile. He wasn’t going to let you go this time. He stood up from his table and walked over towards you. Leaving his fellow dreamies behind. Once he got to you he tapped your shoulder and introduced himself in korean, you not being fluent in korean, understood very little of what he said. You stood there looking up at him like you’d just seen a ghost.
You mustered up all your courage, and knowledge of the language, tried to explain to him that your korean is very poor. He understood what you were trying to communicate through your bad pronunciation.
“Oh I’m sorry for not realizing sooner” he said scratching the back of his head.
The two of you had a pretty pleasant conversation speaking in english. You even exchanged numbers. Mark was elated to say the least, you two talked almost every day until you started developing feelings for him aswell. He eventually got the courage to confess to you one day when you met up for coffee.
Renjun
You had met Renjun at a party, neither of you were drunk, so you just stood near each other and acknowledged the others existence. You were partied out, and Renjun had just been there for his hyungs.
He was really bored from just staring at all the warm bodies colliding in front of him so he decided to spark up a conversation with you. Him assuming you spoke korean like his hyungs decided he’d speak that. The second he turned to look at you it felt like the world froze. He was entranced by your features, and really just everything about you. The butterflies in his stomach stopped him from walking right up to you and introducing himself.
After a couple minutes of staring he snapped out of his trance and continued with his original objective. He spoke to you with all the confidence his weak appearance gave him. It took you a second to realize what was happening until he had already finished his introduction. You knew the bare minimum of korean, so you tried to ask him to repeat himself but to no avail you made no sense.
He shook his head thinking he heard you wrong but when you repeated yourself he stopped you mid sentence and tried a different language. Luckily he chose english and you two were able to laugh over your previous mistakes and have an enjoyable conversation.
Jeno
Jeno saw you from across the room, you were a new trainee at SM who was still learning korean. He stopped in his tracks as he stared blankly at the beautiful figure in front of him. He hadn’t realized his jaw dropped until Donghyuck had pushed his chin back in place.
“You should go talk to them instead of gawking from afar”
Jeno just looked at Donghyuck with worry in his eyes, he really did want to talk to you but he was nervous. So he asked if Donghyuck would go up to you first, and start a conversation with you. So the dongsaeng obliged. Jeno watched as the younger member walked up to you with ease and started a what looks like it “interesting” conversation with you. A couple minutes of creeping passed and Donghyuck walked back to Jeno with a devilish smirk painted across his face. “I warmed them up a bit for you-”
As soon as Jeno got the clear to go he was pushing passed Donghyuck with confidence coursing through his veins. He walked up to you and gave you the most rehearsed introduction… in korean.You stoodthere not understanding what he said, blinking slowly, Jeno hears Donghyuck’s laughter roaring in the background. It takes Jeno a couple seconds to realize what he did wrong. You don’t speak korean. Donghyuck did this on purpose!
Donghyuck
Donghyuck saw you on stage announcing the winners for this category, as soon as he heard your voice he was sold. You were announcing who had one best boy group, NCT had won, he couldn’t care less. All the boys filed up to the stage to collect the reward.
After Taeyong and Johnny gave a speech all of the members walked passed you and shook your hand. He was jumping up and down he couldn’t wait to touch your hand, even if it was just a friendly interaction, he was excited non the less. Once it was his turn he thanked you in korean, but all the korean you knew was to announce NCT winning the award. So you smiled lightly and said you’re welcome in english.
He was shocked, not only had he been pushed away from you by the other members waiting behind him, you spoke english. He felt like an idiot because you didn’t understand a word he said. So after the show he went looking for you to properly thank you in english and ask you on a date.
You accepted his offer and gave him your number, a couple hours after the show was over he called you to make plans for your upcoming date.
Jaemin
Jaemin and you were out eating lunch with mutual friends, he hadn’t heard you speak the entire afternoon. So he figured you spoke korean like the rest. Through out the lunch he tried to talk to you, but every time he got remotely confident he chickened out.
There was something about you that kept him at bay, but pushed him away regardless. He was determined to talk to you by the end of the lunch, but time was passing faster than he wanted it to. He was running out of opportunities to talk to you until,
“Hey Y/N, you there? You haven’t said anything this whole time are you good?” Your friend pointed out grabbing your attention. Y/N he thought, what a pretty name. “Hm yeah, sorry I’m not really good at korean so I’ve just been minding my own business.” All your friends apologized for not noticing earlier, Jaemin just sat in shock.
You don’t speak korean, and you sound like an angel. After the attention changed from you he tapped your shoulder and started a conversation with you. You two had been talking for so long it felt like the world around you ceased to exist.
Chenle
Chenle had heard of you from Mark and the other dreamies, he’s the only one who hasn’t met you because he was sick the day you came to visit. You’re Mark’s friend from America, so he assumed you spoke english, he also just thought you spoke korean. You were coming to visit Seoul to see Mark and just get away from your responsibilities.
Chenle had been practicing his korean and english just for your arrival, because he saw pictures of you and Mark together and he thought you were the most breathtaking person he’s ever seen. He really wanted to impress you. The day had come when Mark and some of the others went to pick you up from the airport. Chenle came along because he wanted to see you as soon as humanly possible.
There you were, walking out of the terminal with your backpack slung over one of your shoulders. Chenle swore as soon as you walked up to the group his heart stopped.
Chenle was still unaware which language to use with you so he had introduced himself in korean, you didn’t catch anything he said so you looked to the ground embarrassed as Mark and the others started laughing at you. Boy was he confused, he questioned the other members until he understood that you don’t speak korean and are trying to learn it.
Jisung
Jisung and you met online, on a website where you can connect with someone who wants to learn a different language. You wanted to learn korean and Jisung wanted to get better at english. You and him had been talking for months, but more recently he’s been developing feelings for you.
“Jisung you’ve come along way I’m so proud of you hun~” You almost squealed from excitement. He loved it when you called him pet names, he thought that meant you felt the same. It really just means you do that to everyone because you’re really friendly. “I owe it all to you little one” he returned the pet name with one of his own.
“Oh that ones new, and I’m not that much shorter than you tall ass!” you playfully quipped back. “너는 우둔 해.”
(which basically means you’re stupid)
“What? You know I’m only a beginner Jisung” you whined. He refused to tell you what he said, or speak of this situation ever again.
